A mobile phone saleswoman in Galway has secured €20 000 from a customer for selling her phone.
The woman, who did not want to be named, said she had been on the market for three weeks for €15 000 and had been paid €15,000.
She said she received a €20 voucher for the purchase of a new smartphone on Monday.
She had been selling her iPhone for €10 000, but was selling it for just under €20 for the new one.
The new phone was not advertised in the market, but the woman said the phone had been placed on the block by her partner because it was too expensive for him.
She was now selling the phone on her own website for €20.
She told the Independent she was delighted the credit was in the amount of €20 and was keen to buy more for herself.
She added she was happy with the way the deal was done.
