On Monday night Cogeca mobile phone accident reporter Giuseppe Varela was on the sidelines when the incident occurred.
It happened at the 1-1 draw with Udinese on Monday night and the referee was on duty, but unfortunately he did not notice the incident until he returned to the pitch.
Varella tweeted a video of the incident on Tuesday morning and his Twitter followers were quick to share the video.

“My mistake.
I should have noticed it immediately.

The defender then wrote that he had broken his left leg and had a lot of pain, but he hoped to recover in time.
Verela is currently out of action, but the midfielder is still hopeful of returning to the field soon.
“I hope to be back in the game soon,” Verel told Football Italian.
“At the moment it’s a lot to take in.
I don’t think I will be able to play again.
I will probably be back a little bit sooner, I think,” he added.
The incident happened in the 11th minute and Varelo was able to make a tackle on the Udinese attacker and he got off his bike and walked to the back of the field.
Varenio was sent off after a very long tackle and Udinese scored the equaliser.
